Select Your Gas Safety Workshop: Laboratory Environments
-
Using Laboratory Gases Safely (theory only)
This training workshop is designed for people who use, handle and store compressed gas cylinders and associated equipment within a laboratory or other similar environment. It consists of safety awareness theory only, to which optional practical training can also be added if desired.

Using Laboratory Gases Safely with Connecting Regulators Demonstration
This training workshop is designed for people who use, handle and store compressed gas cylinders and associated equipment within a laboratory or other similar environment. It consists of safety awareness theory plus a practical demonstration by our trainer of how to correctly connect a regulator and hose assembly to a gas cylinder.
VIEW WORKSHOP -
Using Laboratory Gases Safely with Connecting Regulators Practical
This training workshop is designed for people who use laboratory gases for a variety of purposes and want practical guidance on safely connecting and operating gas equipment. It combines essential safety awareness theory with a hands-on session where delegates will set up, pressurise and leak test a single cylinder nitrogen system, covering the correct use of regulators, hoses and cylinder valves, as well as safe pressure setting and leak rectification procedures.

Using Laboratory Gases Safely including Manifold Systems
This training workshop is designed for people who use, handle and store compressed gas cylinders and associated equipment within a laboratory or other similar environment and who use fixed piped gas supply manifold systems. It consists of safety awareness theory only and includes a section on the correct operation of a manifold system.

Using Laboratory Gases and Liquid Nitrogen Safely (theory only)
This training workshop is designed for people who use, handle or store compressed gas cylinders, cryogenic liquids and associated equipment in a laboratory or similar environment. Information on the safe use of fixed piped gas supply manifold systems can be included if required. It consists of safety awareness theory only, to which optional practical training can also be added if desired.
VIEW WORKSHOP -
Safe Use of Manifold Systems with Practical Connecting Regulators
This training provides staff with detailed information on how manifold systems operate, and the opportunity to practise hands-on connecting a regulator and hose to a cylinder. It also allows staff to safely pressurise the system and leak test it.
VIEW WORKSHOP -
Gas Equipment Safety Check Training, Single Cylinder Systems
This training workshop gives delegates the opportunity to practice hands-on how to correctly set-up and leak test a portable single cylinder gas system, plus be trained how to perform safety checks of these systems. It consists of online safety awareness theory training followed by an instructor-led on-site practical session. It is designed for organisations who have a small number of delegates to train.

Safe Storage and Handling of Gas Cylinders
This training workshop is designed for people who use, handle and store compressed gas cylinders and associated equipment. It consists of safety awareness theory plus a practical demonstration by our trainer of how to correctly milk churn a gas cylinder and safely secure onto a trolley.

Using Compressed Nitrogen Safely
This training workshop is designed for people who use, handle and store compressed nitrogen cylinders only, plus associated equipment. It consists of safety awareness theory plus a practical demonstration by our trainer of how to correctly connect a regulator and hose assembly to a gas cylinder. If you use a different inert gas, such as argon, we can adapt the training to suit your requirements.
