Practical Workshops

This training workshop is designed for people who work with gas regulators and associated equipment in an industrial or laboratory environment. It focuses on the correct selection, visual check and safe use of single and multi-stage regulators, along with hose assemblies and essential safety checks. This is a practical session led by our trainer, where staff will assemble, pressurise and leak test a single cylinder system, including correctly fitting a regulator and carrying out safe operating procedures. This will need to be preceded by a safety awareness theory either in-house or online.

The course focuses on safe inspection and set-up in line with current legislation, with staff carrying out practical checks, functional testing and learning how to maintain accurate inspection records.
