  • Team exercise – Correct assembly of a single cylinder system.
  • Practical session – Staff will set-up, pressurise and leak test a single cylinder nitrogen system. The session will cover:
    • Visual checks on the gas cylinder and valve.
    • Visual checks on the regulator and gauges.
    • Correct fitting of the regulator.
    • Visual checks and correct fitting of the hose.
    • Opening the cylinder valve safely.
    • Setting the correct working pressure.
    • Correct leak test procedures.
    • Rectification of leaks.
    • Closing the cylinder valve and safely releasing residual pressure.

WHO IS THE TRAINING FOR?

This training workshop is designed for people who work with gas regulators and associated equipment in an industrial or laboratory environment. It focuses on the correct selection, visual check and safe use of single and multi-stage regulators, along with hose assemblies and essential safety checks. This is a practical session led by our trainer, where staff will assemble, pressurise and leak test a single cylinder system, including correctly fitting a regulator and carrying out safe operating procedures. This will need to be preceded by a safety awareness theory either in-house or online.


PRICING

The price is £925.00 for up to 6 staff inclusive of certification and support documentation. Additional staff are £60.00 per head, up to a maximum of 12 staff. VAT is payable at the standard rate.
