  • Team exercise – Correct decant procedures.
  • Practical decant – During this practical session staff will cover:
    • Vessel labelling
    • Cleanliness of equipment, free from damage
    • Establishing the supply vessel operating pressure
    • How to safely reduce the operating pressure
    • Safe decant procedure
    • Safe movement of dewars and flasks once filled

WHO IS THE TRAINING FOR?

This practical training workshop is designed for anyone involved in the handling or decanting of liquid nitrogen, particularly those working with cryogenic vessels, dewars and associated equipment. It focuses on the safe transfer of liquid nitrogen from one vessel to another, helping delegates understand the risks involved, identify hazards and follow correct safety procedures. This workshop needs to be preceded by a safety awareness theory workshop which can be online or in-house.


PRICING

The price is £925.00 for up to 6 staff inclusive of certification and support documentation. Additional staff are £60.00 per head, up to a maximum of 10 staff. VAT is payable at the standard rate.
