- Team exercise – Correct assembly of a single cylinder system.
- Practical session – Staff will set-up, pressurise and leak test a single cylinder nitrogen system. The session will cover:
- Visual checks on the gas cylinder and valve.
- Visual checks on the regulator and gauges.
- Correct fitting of the regulator.
- Visual checks and correct fitting of the hose.
- Opening the cylinder valve safely.
- Setting the correct working pressure.
- Correct leak test procedures.
- Rectification of leaks.
- Closing the cylinder valve and safely releasing residual pressure.
WHO IS THE TRAINING FOR?
This training workshop gives staff the opportunity to practice hands-on how to correctly and safely set-up and leak test a gas regulator and hose assembly on an individual gas cylinder.
Before attending this workshop all staff must complete online gas cylinder safety awareness theory training. Alternatively, if preferred, the theory element can be delivered at your site by one of our instructors.

The price is £995.00 for up to 16 staff inclusive of certification and support documentation. VAT is payable at the standard rate.
