- Gas control equipment – Regulators, flashback arrestors, hoses and torches.
- How do fires spread? – Conduction, convection, radiation.
- Fire risk assessments – 5 key stages to producing a fire risk assessment.
- Contractors -Selecting suitable contractors.
- Hot work permits -What are they? Why are they required? Key steps in producing a permit. Site preparation, safe working practices, completion of hot work .

- Practical session – The practical session will include:
- Visual checks on regulators
- Correct fitting of regulators

WHO IS THE TRAINING FOR?
This training workshop is designed for people who are responsible for either issuing hot work permits or supervising hot work operations.
The full day consists of multiple interactive exercises concentrating specifically on the elements required to manage staff and contractors under a formal permit-to-work system.

PRICING
The price is £2000.00 for up to 6 staff inclusive of certification and support documentation. Additional staff are £130.00 per head, up to a maximum of 8 staff. VAT is payable at the standard rate.
