• Practical Demonstration – The demonstration session will include:
  • Visual checks on regulators
  • Correct fitting of regulators
  • Visual checks on flashback arrestors
  • Correct fitting of flashback arrestors
  • Visual checks on hoses
  • Correct fitting of hoses
  • Visual checks on torches
  • Correctly fitting a torch to the system
  • Nozzle selection and fitting
  • Opening cylinder valves safely
  • Setting correct working pressures in an ‘open’ system
  • Correct leak test procedures
  • System depressurisation

This training workshop is designed for people who undertake hot work using compressed gas cylinders under a formal permit to work system.

It consists of safety awareness theory plus a practical demonstration by our trainer of how to correctly set-up and leak-test an oxy-fuel gas system.

Duration: 4 hours

The price is £1425.00 for up to 6 staff inclusive of certification and support documentation. Additional staff are £80.00 per head, up to a maximum of 12 staff. VAT is payable at the standard rate.
