Oxy-fuel Cutting and Burning

Our Oxy-fuel Gas Cutting & Burning Training Workshop is an instructor-led practical based training event for up to 8 delegates. The 1½ day training workshop is designed for all personnel engaged in or supervising oxy-fuel cutting and / or burning.

What You Will Learn

The workshop will enable participants to:

  • Appreciate the importance of safe working procedues and to be aware of the consequences of adopting poor working practices
  • Develop an awareness of the hazards associated with the welding process and to approach risk assessments in a real world situation
  • Correct cutting and burning techniques - theoretical fundamentals of the processes, which are then reinforced during the practical sessions
  • Improve skill levels - the initial practical focuses on the correct set-up of an oxy-fuel gas workstation and how to fault find. The second practical session gives delegates the opportunity to practice techniques; recognise, appreciate causes of and rectify faults; select the correct nozzle; select the correct working pressures; correctly light-up and shut-down the workstation; undertake both an edge an pierce start

Workshop Price

The workshop is priced as follows:

£1375 for up to 4 delegates.

£1725 for up to 6 delegates.

£1975 for up to 8 delegates.

VAT is payable at the standard rate. Certificates of attendance will be issued.
