BOC Invite Gas Safe to present on hazard awareness at the NEC, Birmingham

Gas Safe were invited by BOC to present two hazard awareness sessions for Service Engineer Magazine as part of their Skills Centre promotion during the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Exhibition at the NEC on 1st and 2nd of March.

The 45 minute sessions concentrated on 'How accidents occur with industrial gases' and focused service engineers on the potential hazards of moving gas cylinders in vehicles, the need for adequate ventilation, leak testing procedures and permit to work systems when working in confined spaces. The sessions also covered the properties of gases used within the refrigeration industry.

The modules were well received and prompted a good amount of debate.
