Gas Safety in Laboratory Environments
Our choice of Laboratory Gases Safety Awareness Workshops give participants a firm understanding of the key safety issues associated with the handling, storage and use of cylinder gases within laboratories and other similar environments. The workshops develop risk awareness through the identification of hazards found in everyday situations and participants will learn about the gas safety issues relative to their specific roles, together with the steps required to maintain safe working conditions.
An understanding of hazards and the ability to assess risks within laboratories and other similar environments is vital in today’s Health and Safety conscious workplace, these workshops help to develop these critical skills as well as helping staff to improve their knowledge and awareness of the compressed gases used within their particular working environment.

This 3½ hour workshop is designed for anyone who uses, handles or stores cylinder gases in a laboratory or other similar environment, it is also highly recommended for Managers and Supervisors who are responsible for the safe use of gases. Please note this workshop does not include information relating to piped / manifold systems; see below for details of our extended workshop that includes this subject.

Laboratory Gases Safety Awareness (Including Piped Systems)

This 4 hour workshop is designed for anyone who uses, handles or stores cylinder gases in a laboratory or other similar environment, it is also highly recommended for Managers and Supervisors who are responsible for the safe use of gases. The workshop includes information relating to piped / manifold systems that utilise individual cylinders, multiple cylinders and / or MCP’s (Manifold Cylinder Pallets).
Our Laboratory Gases Safety Awareness (Including Piped Systems) Workshop forms the foundation for two related practical workshops, our Connecting Regulators & Cylinder Set-up workshop or our Connecting Regulators & Maintenance Inspection workshop.
Clients who also use cryogenic gases such as liquid nitrogen will benefit from attending our Cryogenic Gases Safety Awareness Workshop.
